Pygmalion is an open access tool developed to easily draw interactive visualisations of meanings, functions, concepts, etc. in their diachronic evolution. A short description of the tool and instructions on how to use it can be found here: https://woposs.unine.ch/pygmalion.php Pygmalion is available in three versions.
- Pygmalion-simple 1.0, the basic version of the tool: https://woposs.unine.ch/pygmalion.php
- Pygmalion-colour 1.0 which enables to add colour-coded analytical categories defined by the user: https://woposs.unine.ch/pygmalion-colour.php
- Pygmalion-modal 1.0 which is specifically designed for drawing diachronic maps of modal markers or concepts: https://woposs.unine.ch/pygmalion-modal.php
Pygmalion is a flexible and multifunctional tool we developed in the framework of the SNSF-funded project a World of Possibilities (WoPoss). Modal pathways over an extra-long period of time: the diachrony of modality in the Latin language (https://woposs.unine.ch).
