Could anyone add to the summary of Unicode ranges of interest to digital classicists? E.g. from TLG proposals or Dumbarton Oaks vel sim.? GabrielBodard (talk) 11:40, 24 October 2018 (BST)

this seems fairly complete for Greek. There are mentions of the successful 2004 TLG proposals, as far as I can see. It only treats Greek extensively. Adding some Latin numismatics and other circum-Mediterranean languages ElliMylonas (talk) 16:57, 1 December 2020 (GMT)

I added more unicode block info for ancient languages. I think we should include refs. to current fonts - both ones specially developed for Greek/Latin also standard fonts that have most of Unicode. Is it worth mentioning that it's important to use the correct unicode character and not just a similar one? (ex Greek number sign/apostrophe, or Lunate sigma/C) Also mention that there are keyboard shortcuts on all OS to type unicode directly. ElliMylonas (talk) 17:45, 1 December 2020 (GMT)
