Description
The GRANIUS project aims to design and implement an infrastructure for the publication of digital critical editions of ancient texts, and to demonstrate its feasibility through the production of a digital critical edition of the works of the Latin historian Granius Licinianus, known only through fragments.
This digital edition will present the text most likely to be closest to the original, together with the entire process that led to its reconstruction. It will also include a commentary that takes into account the historical interpretations and analyses to which the text has given rise.
