This page offers a list of digitized manuscripts from the Biblioteca Ambrosiana that can be freely accessed through online viewing. This list will be periodically updated with the addition of new digitized manuscripts.
Any user can access the public consultation of digital copies free of charge by following two main routes:
I) through direct consultation of the catalogue record of the manuscript of one's interest starting from its shelfmark: in this way the user, using the catalog to search through the shelfmark for the manuscript in which they are interested, will be able to access free public viewing of the digital copy by following the <Visualizza la copia digitale> link specifically inserted within the detail page of each catalogue record;
II) through the consultation of the summary page, ideally browsing through the digital collection of the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana through the list of digitized manuscripts, moreover recognizable thanks to the IIIF icon.
