Finishing DPhil student in Ancient History at the University of Oxford.
I am a historian and epigrapher, my research uses machine learning to study the epigraphic cultures of the ancient Mediterranean.  


Interested in the Classical and Tech(no) side of research - and music.
I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Ca' Foscari University of Venice ([https://pric.unive.it/projects/pythiaplus/home PythiaPlus project]), undertaking secondments at Google Deepmind (London), AUEB and the IMSI Athena Research Centre (Athens). In 2021-2022, I am a CHS Fellow in Hellenic Studies at Harvard University.
Currently working on machine learning for Latin epigraphical text restoration and other fun stuff.

I did my BA in Classics at the University of Pavia and a parallel MA in Humanities at the School for Advanced Study IUSS Pavia. I then moved to Oxford for my MSt in Greek History. I completed my DPhil in Ancient History at the University of Oxford in January 2021. In 2020, I was the Ralegh Radford Rome Awardee at the British School at Rome.

My postdoctoral research project focuses on Digital Epigraphy, exploring how Machine Learning can enable large-scale, in-depth interpretation of the epigraphic cultures of the ancient Mediterranean. I am a historian and epigrapher, my research uses machine learning to study the epigraphic cultures of the ancient Mediterranean.

I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Ca' Foscari University of Venice (PythiaPlus project), undertaking secondments at Google Deepmind (London), AUEB and the IMSI Athena Research Centre (Athens). In 2021-2022, I am a CHS Fellow in Hellenic Studies at Harvard University.

I did my BA in Classics at the University of Pavia and a parallel MA in Humanities at the School for Advanced Study IUSS Pavia. I then moved to Oxford for my MSt in Greek History.
