Description

From project website (accessed 2016-01-12):

A website that provides a digital resource and search engine for locating and studying graffiti of the early Roman empire from the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum.

It allows to:

  • search for graffiti by location, by clicking directly on the map or selecting from the pull-down menu, or
  • search specifically for graffiti drawings by choosing the class of drawing that interests you, or
  • search for a specific word or phrase and find where it occurs within the ancient city.
