Formerly the blog of the Stoa Consortium, founded and primarily edited and authored by the late Ross Scaife, the Stoa Wordpress site became the official blog of the Digital Classicist community in 2005. Since the migration of most Stoa content to a new host at the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World in 2019, the blog has been migrated to the Institute of Classical Studies, where it continues to serve as the news and announcement site for the Digital Classical community, hosting calls to action, reports and occasional pre-press publications.
