- Corona Atlas of the Middle East
- The U.S. Geological Survey's Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center provides a variety of geospatial data products (including aerial and satellite imagery), many not limited to North America. These are summarized, with links to their various dissemination systems, on the EROS Products and Data Available page.
Programs and applications that embed satellite imagery
Other than Google Earth, which has good street-level images of most built-up areas, the sources known to us are:
- NASA's World Wind (free, mostly comparable in resolution to Google)
- DigitalGlobe/QuickBird (commercial)
