This project aims at creating a tiled vector map to replace the current raster tiles of the [[Digital Atlas of the Roman Empire]] (DARE). The projects builds on Open Source technology, developed by Klokan Technologies and data from the DARE gazetteer and geographical information system as well as other openly available data.
