Pede Certo is a new digital tool for the automatic metrical annotation of Latin hexameters and pentameters. The 'metrical search engine' was applied to the digital archive Musisque Deoque: the more than 244.000 dactylic verses of Latin poetry from its origins to VII century AD are analysed from a prosodic perspective. The site offers many possible options for discovering the use of dactylic meters in the Latin Poetry. Last but not least, it is also possible to use the 'metrical tool' on dactylic verses out of the native database.
At the moment the site is available only in italian.
The project will be officially presented on April 24, 2013 at the University of Ca' Foscari Venice.
