Title

In the title "magazén. International Journal for Digital and Public Humanities", the word "magazén" is intentionally in lower case.

The name magazén refers to the historical definition of public houses in the Republic of Venice, which were places of diverse human deeds and thriving including information exchange, commercial bargains and pawn brokerage.

Description

The journal combines the fields of Digital Humanities at large with Digital Public History. Its editorial policy focuses on public engagement and interdisciplinarity. Authors are welcome to include articles deriving from collaborative work, stating the responsabilities of different participants in the creation of articles. Also, they are encouraged to supplement their essays with supporting data of various formats.
