Description

Part of the AHRB funded The Greek Bible in the Graeco-Roman World project, Demetrios is an online relational database focusing on over 400 political, legal and administrative words, in order to help evaluating the Greek Bible as a source for Jewish interpretation of the political, social and intellectual culture of the Hellenistic world (continuing into the early Roman Empire).

(As of 2015-02-03 the engine behind the Demetrios database seems to be down. It was last updated in 2005.)
