Description

The Inscriptions of Aphrodisias Photographs are a large collection (xxx photos; 14 GB download) of photographs taken by Joyce Reynolds and Mossman Roueché between the 1960s–1990s at the Roman site of Aphrodisias in Caria (modern Türkiye). Many of these images were used to illustrate the Aphrodisias in Late Antiquity 2004 and Inscriptions of Aphrodisias 2007 online publications, and earlier print publications of some of the inscriptions. The repository of photographs have been released under a CC0 license (public domain dedication) by Charlotte Roueché, making them free (as in speech and as in beer) for reuse, redistribution and publication in print or electronic form with no cost or restrictions.

Reuse and republication, especially in epigraphic publications or for teaching and training, is positively encouraged.
