Description

Oslo Papyri Electronic System (OPES) is the database of the Papyrus Collection of the University of Oslo Library. It contains at the moment 210 of the ca. 280 published papyri (with the unpublished ones, the Collection has circa 2272 papyri), with images, translation, and metadata. OPES is also connected to Advanced Papyrological Information System (APIS) and thus to Papyri.info [1]). The languages of the documents are Greek, Egyptian (Coptic, Demotic, Hieratic), Latin and Arabic.
