Description
Integrating Digital Epigraphies (IDEs) was a metadata and bibliography aggregator for Greek epigraphy, providing alignment and discovery of inscription references across multiple collections.
From the project website (archived 2017-09-20):
IDEs aims to bring a variety of resources for Digital Epigraphy together into a single browseable interface and to build APIs that support linking together epigraphic projects.
IDEs was a proof of concept arising from a preliminary meeting at Duke University in 2016 on aggregating references to and between major databases of Greek epigraphy. Although this was never followed up with a concrete project, and the IDEs demonstrator lapsed a couple years later, many of the concepts behind it have been taken up in discussions under the Epigraphy.info banner.
