Description
This site provides information about archaeological monuments along the Upper German-Raetian Limes in the states of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate.
Under the menu heading 'Locations along the Limes' you will find a map showing where remains have been discovered, and descriptions (in English) of the history of the excavation of each site and of what can be seen above ground today there.
