Publications and research areas
Research foci: early Christian and Jewish literature, Classics, computational and data-driven philology, open data science, and scholarly communication. Books: As the Bandit Will I Confess You (2013), on the reception of Luke 23.39–43; Behold the Thief with the Eyes of Faith (2024), a translation compendium of late antique and early medieval sermons. Co-edited volumes include Reconsidering Arminius (2014) and Classical Greek Models of the Gospels and Acts (2018). Published datasets of the reconstructions of Marcion's Gospel and/or Apostle by Hahn, van Manen, Zahn, Harnack, BeDuhn, Roth, Klinghardt, Nicolotti, published in the Journal of Open Humanities Data. With Markus Vinzent, Jack Bull, and K. Lance Lotharp, published critical reconstruction and analysis of Marcion's Apostolos (2025, 2026). Co-developer of e-Clavis: Christian Apocrypha (NASSCAL), with Tony Burke and Bradley Rice.
