Internet Archaeology is an open access, independent, not-for-profit journal which has been published online since 1996. It aims to not only publish quality academic content, but to also explore the potential of electronic publication through the inclusion of video, audio, searchable data sets, full-colour images, visualisations, animations and interactive mapping.

The journal charges an APC (article processing charge) for all publications, the cost of which is not calculated and communicated to the author until after the piece is accepted for publication.
