Contents and functionality
Papyri.info provides search and editing functionality for papyrological data aggregated under the Integrating Digital Papyrology project.
It collects and aggregates data from:
- Advanced Papyrological Information System (APIS)
- Arabic Papyrology Database
- Bibliographie Papyrologique
- Duke Databank of Documentary Papyri
- Heidelberger Gesamtverzeichnis der griechischen Papyrusurkunden Ägyptens
- Trismegistos
Open Source Software
The core functionality is provided by the two open source tools:
- Papyrological Navigator (for display, browse and search features) — PN code at Github
- Papyrological Editor (editing and editorial workflow management) — SoSOL code at Github
Open Data
All data is also available under a Creative Commons Attribution license in the idp.data repository on GitHub. The Papyrological Editor on papyri.info is powered by SoSOL.
