The Electronic Archive of Greek and Latin Epigraphy (EAGLE) -- an international federation of epigraphic databases -- is the brainchild of Professor Silvio Panciera (Rome), under the Patronage of AIEGL (Association Internationale d'Epigraphie Grecque et Latine).
