The Cylleneus project is developing a next-generation corpus search engine, making use of the rich lexical and semantic data of the WordNet. This means that, besides basic word-form and lemma-based searches, users can use Cylleneus to query Latin (and eventually Greek) texts based on both their semantic and their syntactic properties. In other words, for the first time, texts can be searched on the basis of the meanings of words as well as of the kinds of grammatical constructions they appear in.
