Description

This indispensable database of metadata and bibliography of literary and paraliterary papyri is an updated and enhanced version of the bibliographical catalogue of literary papyri The Greek and Latin Literary Texts from Greco-Roman Egypt, edited by R.A. Pack first in 1952 and then in 1965. Pack's work was first updated by Mertens, then digitised (from 1999), and lastly published online, from 2005, as the Catalogue des papyrus littéraires grecs et latins, or Mertens-Pack³. It is available through the website of the CEDOPAL, the "Centre de Documentation de Papyrologie Littéraire" of the University of Liège, and it is co-ordinated by prof. Marie-Hélène Marganne, director of the CEDOPAL.
