This online database is an updated and enhanced version of the catalogue "The Greek and Latin Literary Texts from Greco-Roman Egypt", edited by R.A. Pack first in 1952 and then in 1965. Pack's catalogue was first updated by Mertens, then digitised (from 1999), and finally published online, from 2005, as the "Catalogue des papyrus littéraires grecs et latins", or "Mertens-Pack³. It is available through the website of the CEDOPAL, the "Centre de Documentation de Papyrologie Littéraire" of the University of Liège. It is co-ordinated by prof. Marie-Hélène Marganne, director of the CEDOPAL.
