Description

AIUCD (Associazione per l’Informatica Umanistica e la Cultura Digitale) is the Italian professional association of digital humanists. If was founded in Florence, Italy, on March 25, 2011. Its first annual conference took place in Bologna, Italy, in December 2012. It is a member institution of the European Association of Digital Humanities (EADH). The AIUCD-L mailing list AIUCD-L is its official mailing list of the association.

Annual conferences

Goals

The AIUCD aims to include not only professionals working on the Digital Literary Studies but on all fields of the Humanities, with an explicit mention of "archivi, biblioteche e musei" in the presentation page of the association website.

In line with the Italian tradition of studies, it fosters theoretical and methodological research aside projects realizations.
