Description

Seneca - De beneficiis is a blog where the Italian translation of the first book of Seneca’s De beneficiis was gradually published by its authors, the pupils of VR of Liceo Scientifico “S. Cannizzaro” (a. s. 2013-14), on the proposal of their Latin teacher, Pietro Li Causi.

This translation is the result of their collective work and and was conceived as a gift that the class has chosen to make to the community, since there are no digital editions in Italian of this Seneca's treatise online.

The reference text for the translation is the one set by John W. Basore in 1935 for the Loeb Classical Library (link to the digital edition on Perseus).
